On August 2nd, at Innovation building, FPT University students had an exchange meeting with the volunteer team from Korea. Inspired by an open and friendly learning spirit, the participants had a stimulating discussion on development trends of the IT industry and mobile technology.

The friendliness and enthusiasm of FPT students placed a good impression in the heart of students from the land of Kimchi.
At 09:30 am, FPT students happily received the Korean volunteer team. After warm greetings, they took their new friends to see around their study premises. The team felt much interested and they joined an English class at FPT University.
In the Innovation Hall, Korean friends introduced their university, and together shared their knowledge about Big Data. This has been one of the main technologies in 2012 for its three basic features: large capacity, great speed, and diversity. This technology can, therefore, support enterprises in exploiting data to the maximum, which helps to raise their business value. In return, members from Young and Talent Club of FPT University talked about Mobile Technology.

After the amiable lunch, in the afternoon, all the participants paid a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels of Ho Chi Minh City. The Korean friends were excited to be in the place known as “Steel Land Cu Chi”, the tunnels which have recorded many heroic victories of Vietnamese army and people.
Cu Chi Tunnels, a pride of Vietnam, was an attractive destination for Korean volunteer students.
The group did not forget to try Vietnamese specialties. Ms Seonghee said, “I’m really impressed by Vietnamese cuisine, especially fried gourami with rice paper”. The journey ended at 10:00 pm, and it was time for the students to say goodbye while still feeling attached.
