


At 6 pm on the coming April 26th, the seminar “2012 Technology Trends” will take place at FPT University, with the attendance of the former CEO of Pepsi and Apple – Mr. John Sculley. The seminar will be the opportunity for 100 best IT students from universities to meet this famous person.
The seminar is held in the cooperation between Misfit Wearable and FPT University. The seminar will center on the technological trends expected to be mostly influential to the world in the next five years. There will be some analysis and predictions of the huge effects they will make on every aspect of the global economic and social life, and a forecast on the formation of new technologies.

On April 26th, Mr. John Sculley – former CEO of Pepsi and Apple will meet 100 excellent IT students from many universities.
Mr. John Sculley, former CEO of the two multinational organizations Pepsi and Apple will be the main speaker of the talk. He will be accompanied by Mr. Sonny Vu – CEO of Misfit Wearable, Professor Shari Loessberg of MIT Sloan Schook of Management University, and Mr. Wain Fishburn from Cooley LLP.
Having many years of experience with global corporations, Mr. John Sculley, in the seminar, will also be in the role of a listener and an advisor to Vietnamese IT students. He will share his own experience to help young students in shaping their career in the future as well.
Another target of the seminar is to share the interest in creating perfect products, like the target of Apple made for every of their products. Sharing on principles of product design, real stories from Apple, experiences when working with Steve Jobs, an outstanding person in the world of technology, or on the standards to distinguish great products from good ones, will all be precious information to people working in IT, and especially for IT students.
Being the founder of Misfit Wearable, a company providing technology products in health care, Mr. John Sculley will also talk about the capability of providing low-cost health care services in a large scale through mobile technology.
The seminar is expected to be in 3 hours, from 6 p.m. on April 26th in the Great Hall of FPT University – No.8 Ton That Thuyet Str., Hanoi. This will be a great chance for Vietnamese IT students to interact with a real person of the technology world. This is hoped to widen the students’ vision, improve their knowledge, and bring them a desire of narrowing the gap between the technology of Vietnam and the world.
