Presentation and question answering skill are issues concerned by many young people. In the seminar, Professor Ilene had provided students with necessary skills to have a presentation which achieves desired result such as: always make question to clearly define purposes, object, place and content of the presentation. And also, keep in mind the principles for an effective presentation “Preparation. Preparation! Preparation!!”, never read slide content while presenting, but using your own verbal and body language to make a lively presentation. When using another language, pay attention to pronunciation. Besides, it’s important to be interested in difficult questions from audience, and a lot of other useful recommendations…

Professor Ilene also shared her experience and about Successful Job Interview. A job interview usually divided into 4 parts:  first contact, ice breaker, information exchange and wrap-up. She analyzed clearly, in detail the content and meaning of each, gave 8 things you should do and should not do when interviewing, and prepared for frequently asked questions. The professor also reminded students of practicing English today, for a successful job interview in English in the future.

The hall was really warmed up by the useful principles from Professor Ilene, along with exciting discussion.
